Empty legs become available for two simple reasons
- If the private jet has been tasked with flying passengers one way to their chosen destination, the jet will not stay at the client’s final destination so will return home empty.
- On many occasions, clients book a return flight but due to the return date being longer than perhaps three days the operator will not leave the jet theirs. So what happens is the jet becomes empty on the route back to the location where it’s required to collect the passengers
